Engineering Automation Technology Limited is an indigenous Technological Engineering Company Incorporated on the 9th of November, 2007 under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria utilizing Certified, Qualified, Experienced personnel and providing Quality Services in the Industry.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

Develop structural designs for various structures and facilities such as buildings, platforms, and pipelines, and ensure that they are safe and compliant with industry codes and regulations.
Prepare comprehensive reports, calculations, and technical documentation detailing structural analyses, design rationale, and recommendations, and communicate findings, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, exploring innovative materials, construction methods, and technologies to enhance structural efficiency and performance
Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions.
Stay current with industry trends and standards to ensure continuous improvement.
Create detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using relevant software and considering industry standards and regulations.
Perform structural analysis to ensure components can withstand environmental factors (e.g., wind, waves, seismic activity) and operational loads.
Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies for proposed structural designs.
Ensure compliance with industry-specific codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., API standards, ASCE codes).
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, geotechnical engineers, and project managers, to integrate structural requirements into overall project plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
Strong knowledge of industry standards and quality control procedures.
Certification in Project Management and Quality Control or Quality assurance is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in engineering software for design and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, Prota Structure)
Strong Mathematical skills, knowledge of building codes and regulations.
At least 5 Years of working experience as a structural engineering
Proven experience as a structural Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
